Directors’ profiles
Mukta Naik is a qualified architect (from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi) and an urban planner (Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University, Texas, USA). In the course of her academic experiences and after, she has written and edited several academic and research papers in the areas of construction products, real estate, and infrastructure. Her work experience has varied from heading a research team to managing an industry association, both in India and abroad. Her role in Minerva is that of the Chief Executive Officer.
Nupur Chaturvedi has mastered in English Literature from the Delhi University and has also done a Diploma Course in Journalism from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan. A five-year stint working on monthly publications in CyberMedia at various levels gave her the requisite grounding to start Minerva. Today, she is the Chief Operations Officer in the company, with nine years of rich and varied experience in writing, editing and content management under her belt.
Core content team
Varsha Trehan is a B.Sc. (Hons) and a Bachelors in Library Sciences from Pune University, and a B.Ed. from Annamalai University. She has four years’ experience in research and documentation with the Pune University Jayakar Library and the National Film Archives of India, four years’ school-level teaching, and has worked as a freelance writer and editor, before joining Minerva as an Editorial Executive. Her organizational skills and perfectionist streak are invaluable to the team, as are her friendly words and helping hands.
Swatee Chaturvedi is a graduate in Science from Nagpur University and holds a PG Diploma in Fashion Designing from IITC, Mumbai. Swatee started her career at Minerva, initially helping with data collection and secondary research and moving on to content writing and editorial work. She is currently an Editorial Executive and is indispensable to the company, owing to her prompt response, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
Prasheila Lookhar holds a B.Com. (Hons) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. She is a talented and diligent Project Executive in the company and the youngest of our team, bringing in enthusiasm and fun to the work environment.
Design
Neha Roy is a B.A. (Hons), Delhi University, and holds an Advance Diploma in Advertising and Graphic Design from Wigan & Leigh College, Delhi. She has worked as a freelance designer for five years, handling below-the-line ads, brochures, danglers, publications and a variety of design projects for prestigious names like Airtel, Escorts, Ministry of Agriculture (Government of India), World Health Organization, GENPUR, Gentech, Noida Power Company Limited, and others. She is Art Director with Minerva, and handles the graphic design aspects of all projects. From time to time, she handles freelance designers, illustrators and web designers, as and when required.
Consultant
Payal Dhar has a PG diploma in journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. She has been a freelance writer on technology and sport, and a copy-editor for various publishing houses since 1998. Over the past couple of years she has been dabbling in Web design and development as well. Payal is a published author (of children’s fiction) and is awaiting publication of her third book.
